2025 Annual Meeting

The annual Nepco Lake District meeting will be on Saturday morning, August 16. The meeting will be held at Nepco Lake County Park (1410 Griffith Ave).

Keep an eye out for a mailing with meeting materials in early August.

Elections

At the meeting we’ll be holding an election for a Board of Commissioner member (three-year term). If you’re interested in running, please submit your name and a brief statement outlining your experience in organizational leadership and why you’d like to serve on the Lake District Board. Submissions can be emailed to [email protected] up until July 15, 2025.

Voting

Who can vote at the annual meeting? Qualified voters at the annual meeting fall into four categories:
  1. Voter is listed as an owner on the property tax records for Wood County property within the boundaries of the Nepco Lake District. Only those named on the property tax records will be allowed to vote.
  2. Voter is not listed as an owner on the property tax records, however, is listed on the deed of a property within the boundaries of the Nepco Lake District the property. You must provide a copy of your deed to verify your eligibility.
  3. Voter is not listed as an owner of a property within the Nepco Lake District, however, has a primary permanent residence within the boundaries of the Nepco Lake District. You must provide a copy of your proof of residency to verify your eligibility, such as a driver’s license or a utility bill in your name.
  4. Voter is the single official representative, officer, or employee authorized to vote on behalf of a legal entity* that owns property within the boundaries of the Nepco District. Please provide a copy of a letter, or other form of authorization from the legal entity showing your name as the designated representative for the purposes of voting eligibility. Only one voter is allowed per legal entity. (* A “legal entity’ is defined as a business, trust, foundation, corporation, association, or similar organization.)
Note that each qualified voter receives 1 ballot, regardless of the number of parcels owned.
