Join Wood County Land & Water Conservation Department staff and other lakeshore residents to learn about the importance of shoreline stabilization. If you can, please bring a laptop or device to use the Healthy Lakes & Rivers “Score My Shore” tool. This tool will help evaluate your lakeshore property by walking you through a series of questions to provide an individualized shoreline score and suggestions to restore and stabilize your shore and reduce runoff.
Want to know what the best part is? You can choose to answer the “Score My Shore” tool anonymously, register for an account to save and return to your information at any time, and choose whether information can be shared or whether to keep results private. Your responses will NOT be used for regulatory purposes. The goal is to learn more about your individual property and see what you can do to help protect your shoreline investment as well as your lake.
